The Dye Sub Process

The dye sublimation process uses heat-sensitive dyes to transfer graphics and text onto special paper. Sublimation ink turns from solid to gas under heat, entering the polymer's pores. When the temperature drops, the gas solidifies, embedding the print into the material.
